Dr. Olivia Lynch

Dr. Lynch is a Licensed Psychologist in North Carolina and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist with expertise in providing behavioral health services to children, teenagers, and young adults. She is also PSYPACT-credentialed, meaning she can provide telehealth services to individuals in 39+ states (PSYPACT Map).

Dr. Lynch grew up in Clinton, NC and received her B.S. in Psychology and Exercise and Sport Science (EXSS) from UNC-Chapel Hill before completing a Master of Education and Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from the College of William & Mary.  Dr. Lynch spent two years working in the field of School Psychology for Onslow County Schools before beginning her Ph.D. in Health Psychology, with a concentration in Pediatric School Psychology, at East Carolina University. Dr. Lynch completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship with Geisinger, a regional health system in Pennsylvania, as a part of her doctoral training.

Dr. Lynch has provided psychological services in multiple health care settings, including pediatric primary care clinics, family medicine sites, hospitals, and private practices.  Clinically, Dr. Lynch specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults with anxiety and depression, as well as working with parents of children with disruptive behaviors. She incorporates a variety of evidence-based theoretical orientations into her work, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Behavioral Parent Training.

Dr. Lynch prioritizes building rapport and establishing warm, positive working relationships with clients and families.

Dr. Lynch currently lives in Clinton, NC with her husband, William, and their daughter, Rosie Eleanor. When not working, Dr. Lynch enjoys hiking and spending time in nature, reading personal development books, and trying new restaurants.
